Passive & Active Filtration

No doubt you would agree that over the course of the pandemic we have seen an increase in keeping things clean. In fact we have had to change what solutions we use to clean AC systems with.

With this there has been increase in awareness of good Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

We are able to offer different solutions. Passive and Active filtration.

You might have seen Passive filtration systems and not even realised. Passive systems have to “pull” air over filters or a series of filter to catch contaminants and clean your air. These are your standard filtration systems. Your ventilation system, your Heat Recovery system and even your simple purifiers do this. You can even choose what level of purification you need depending on the filters you have in place. These are effective but can only “catch” what goes through the filtration system.

The Second option is known as Active Filtration.

Active Filtration does not require filters but can neutralise viruses that are suspended in the air including COVID-19. On top of this an Active filtration can clean an entire space it controls even the surfaces. They can be left running 24/7 and do not require any maintenance.

If you would like to know more about Passive and Active filtration and if any of these services interest you then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
